Durable Transporters

Jogging and sports strollers feature large bicycle-tire wheels but lightweight frames. They're designed to endure rough roads and trails, says Vallese. The front wheel of these all-terrain models feature a maximum glide to avoid slips and enhance maneuvers. The stroller base has padded seats and an adjustable harness so the baby stays comfortable and safe.

Lightweight Options

Lightweight strollers are just that – light in weight. They're easy to set up, and just as easy to fold when it's time to put them away. Lightweight models typically have high-quality wheels, storage baskets and canopies. Vallese warns, though, that due to the small frame of this stroller, your baby may be able to reach the folding and locking devices. If you go with this option, you'll need to keep an eye on those tiny, wandering hands.
